How do I maintain my ceramic coating?

Our coating suppliers do not recommend ever taking your vehicle through a drive-thru car wash whether its touch-less or not.

The best way to maintain your vehicle after ceramic is applied is to wash it by hand. Top to bottom, never bottom to top. And using the 2-bucket method. This makes for good vehicle maintenance practice.

If you follow each of these steps, your coating will ALWAYS look just as good as the day we gave it to you.

What is the 2-bucket method?

The 2-bucket method for washing a car involves using two separate buckets of water: one bucket with soapy water for washing the car, and another bucket with clean water for rinsing off the sponge or mitt used for washing. By using two buckets, you can prevent dirt and debris from getting mixed into the soapy water, which can scratch and damage the car's paint. This method helps to ensure that your car gets washed thoroughly and safely, without causing any harm to its exterior.

Can I wash my car right after I get a Ceramic Coating?

No! It is recommended to let the coating fully cure for 72 hours.

It is ok if it rains. We just don’t recommend you wash it. Whether it’s by hand or machine, until 72 hours has passed.

Can I swing by your studio?

Unfortunately, we are a by appointment only business. Please give us a call/text/e-mail with a date and time you had in mind, and we will be sure to accommodate you with a consultation even on the weekends if need be.
